Softness
born from
love.
Every Kiddie Kips garment carries four years of research, 45 years of family textile wisdom, and one mother's unwavering belief — born from raising Kiaan, Kiyara & Kimaya — that babies deserve the very best.
Named for our children. Made for yours.
A mother's search
for something better.
Kiddie Kips was born not in a boardroom, but in a nursery. When Preethi became a mother, she found herself searching for baby clothing that truly met the standard she knew was possible — having grown up inside a family textile business with over 45 years of manufacturing heritage.
What she found on the market fell short. Too stiff. Too synthetic. Too compromising. So she set out to build what didn't exist yet — spending four years in research, development, and relentless testing to create garments she would be proud to put on her own children.
The children who inspired it all? Kiaan, Kiyara & Kimaya — whose names live quietly inside the Kiddie Kips identity, and who were the original reason everything had to be perfect.
"I wanted clothing as kind to the earth as it is to my children's skin. That became the standard everything else was measured against."
Textile roots.
Technology mind.
Mother's heart.
"I grew up surrounded by fabrics. My family has been in textile and garment manufacturing for over 45 years — it was in our home, our conversations, our hands. But life took me into the IT industry, where I spent 16 years building something completely different."
When motherhood brought those two worlds together, everything became clear. Kiddie Kips was the dream she was always building toward — she just hadn't known what it looked like yet.
The science of
extraordinary softness.
"Mridu" means gentle in Sanskrit. It is the word we chose because it captures exactly what every Kiddie Kips garment is designed to be — gentle on skin, gentle on the planet, gentle on your peace of mind.
Three commitments.
Every single garment.
Our designs are produced in small batches and kept deliberately limited — so your child wears something genuinely special, not something every baby on the block has. When a print is gone, it's gone. That's the point.
Meet Kiaan,
Kiyara & Kimaya.
Every Kiddie Kips garment exists because of these three. Kiaan sparked the original question — why couldn't baby clothing be softer? Kiyara and Kiaan tested every prototype with the uncompromising honesty only toddlers possess. And Kimaya, our newest joy, arrived just as the brand was ready — a reminder that every collection is made for a real child, in a real family, deserving nothing but the very best.
"Three children. One mission. The softest start possible."

Questions parents
ask us most.
Yes. All Kiddie Kips garments are made from Premium Bamboo Viscose Blend and are hypoallergenic, free from harsh chemicals, and certified safe by OEKO-TEX Standard 100. They are specifically designed for babies with sensitive skin, eczema, and newborn delicacy. Our Signature Mridu Fabric Blends are temperature-regulating and get softer with every wash.
Our products are manufactured in a facility that holds three international certifications: OEKO-TEX Standard 100 (tested for 100+ harmful substances), ETKO (organic textile standard), and RINA FSC-COC (responsible chain of custody). These certifications confirm that every garment is safe for baby skin and produced responsibly.
Bamboo viscose is naturally hypoallergenic, temperature-regulating, and three times softer than cotton. Unlike cotton, bamboo fabric is inherently free from pesticides, more breathable for temperature control, and gets softer with every wash rather than harder. For babies with sensitive skin or eczema, bamboo is the gentler, safer choice.
Yes — all Kiddie Kips designs are produced in small batches and kept deliberately limited. We believe every child deserves to wear something genuinely special, not something every baby on the block has. Each print is thoughtfully designed and produced in limited quantities, so when a design is gone, it's gone for good. This small-batch approach is part of what makes Kiddie Kips unique: your baby's outfit is as individual as they are.
"Mridu" is a Sanskrit word meaning "gentle." Kiddie Kips named their Signature Fabric Blends Mridu because it perfectly captures what every garment is designed to be — gentle on skin, gentle on the planet, and gentle on parents' peace of mind.
